I started this year with a new year’s resolution to get more exercise.  The first couple of weeks of January, I was on track with my loosely formulated plan.  I had gone on a couple 25-mile bike rides and gotten out for a walk a few times.

I’ve been tracking my activity, because I’ve learned that otherwise it’s too easy to lose track.  Well, I was disappointed to see that two weeks had passed without any activity whatsoever.

I took action to rectify the problem.  I went on a bike ride on Saturday, and decided to make February my fitness month.  Every day during February I plan to commit at least 30 minutes to walking, stretching, bike riding, or any fitness related activity.

I started today and did about an hour walk.

Our here in Southern California, the weather is great this time of year and that makes it easier to get outside.  For anyone who has good weather, I encourage you to set up your own February fitness plan.
